How it works
Each 12-week programme has a cohort of up to 12 people who are business owners or senior leaders in the creative industries.
As a participant, you receive 21 hours of support and training. The programme is made up of group workshops and one-to-one sessions with a specialist business mentor – online and in-person at the beautiful Somerset House in central London.
Run by leading social enterprise, Creative United, Re:Create GrowthCamp builds on the successful Re:Create programme, that has supported more than 200 creative businesses across London and Essex since 2021.

Meet the Mentors
Our fantastic team of business mentors have a wealth of experience and understanding of the creative industries. From leading fashion brands to managing international artists and heritage programmes. They know the unique challenges faced by creative founders and how to move towards long-term viability.
You will be paired with an expert business mentor, matched to your needs.
With five hours of mentoring, scheduled flexibly over the 12-week programme at times that suit you.
Participants in the summer cohort will also have access to a business specialist who will provide practical advice in areas such as branding, HR policies, business regulations, business rates or taxation.

Andrew is an experienced organisational change leader specialising in strategy, business development and fundraising in the charity and social enterprise sector. He offers coaching, mentoring and business advice, bringing energy to help organisations grow, build resilience and achieve their vision, with expertise in finance, governance, digital and communications.
Annegret Affolderbach
Annegret is an ecological artist and visioning coach creating sensory artworks and strategies rooted in culture and landscape. Her work addresses sustainability, water and over-consumption. With a background in sustainable fashion, she guides creatives and changemakers to build visionary, regenerative futures.
Diane Wagg
Diane is an artist, creative partner and consultant supporting talent across arts, music, film and entertainment. With a background in A&R, production and management, she has guided global artists and secured major partnerships, offering one-to-one consultancy rooted in coaching for creatives, entrepreneurs and industry professionals.
Emma Clarke
Emma is a business growth coach specialising in tourism, cultural and heritage sectors. With 20+ years’ experience, she helps organisations unlock growth through assets, new products and funding. She supports businesses with marketing and planning and has secured funding from bodies including Arts Council England and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Helene Panzarino
Helene is a former banker, entrepreneur and author of Business Funding for Dummies. An educator, investor and advisor, she has held senior fintech and academic roles, supported scaleups, and serves on multiple boards. Recognised on leading Women in Tech and FinTech lists, she specialises in finance, innovation and growth.
Jason Ojukwu
Jason is an impact-driven business advisor with 15+ years’ experience delivering intellectual property solutions for creative entrepreneurs, with a focus on BAME founders. Across visual arts, media, and digital content, he helps identify, protect, and monetise IP, partnering with organisations to refine positioning, unlock markets, and build sustainable, scalable revenue.
Jane Rice-Bowen
Jane is a Yorkshire-based arts management consultant specialising in strategy, fundraising and governance. Formerly Chief Executive of National Centre for Circus Arts and Joint Principal of the Conservatoire for Dance and Drama, she champions creativity and access to the arts. She is also a trustee and former Chair of Eureka!.
Laura Mulhern
Laura is a marketing and business development specialist and founder of STØRIIE, delivering branding, audience engagement and content strategy across the UK. She also founded Plan Make Do®, supporting creative start-ups and SMEs through mentoring, workshops and business development programmes.
John Anderson
John is an experienced senior manager and consultant with a strong track record across public, private and voluntary sectors. He supports organisations with business planning, governance and fundraising, and has led major programmes and heritage projects, bringing expertise in team leadership, regeneration and organisational development.
Louise Emerson
Louise is a strategist and coach specialising in growth, change and sustainable business planning. With 25+ years’ leadership experience, including roles at the Natural History Museum and Cheltenham Festivals, she helps organisations increase income, build teams and partnerships, and develop strong brands across sectors.
Nathalia Harrison
Nat is an ICF accredited business coach, trainer and facilitator with PCC certification and specialist ADHD coaching expertise. She supports creative entrepreneurs to clarify their vision, build confidence and develop resilient businesses. A co-founder of the creative business network Hive Collective, she champions hyper-local collaboration and community among creatives in North-East London.
Remi Harris MBE
An experienced business leader and coach, Remi is co-founder of the Music Leaders Network, the leadership development programme for women in music. Previously, Remi was general manager of AIM, director of operations at UK Music, and chair of the Alliance for Diversity in Music and Media. She was awarded an MBE for services to the Music Industry in 2016 and was inducted to the Music Week Women in Music Roll of Honour in 2019.
Sabina Strachan
Sabina is a consultant and trainer with 25 years’ experience in cultural, creative and heritage sectors. She founded how2glu to support collaboration and organisational development using design thinking. She has led major cultural strategy and evaluation projects and held senior roles in academia and heritage organisations.
Stephen Hignell
Stephen is a creative industries strategist and cultural policy consultant with nearly 20 years’ experience supporting artists, leaders and policymakers. As a Director at Nordicity, he advises governments and cultural organisations globally on inclusive creative economies and enterprise development. He works across policy, systems thinking and community-led cultural strategy.

Stuart is a creative business advisor with a background in interior and 3D design and over 25 years’ experience in fashion entrepreneurship. Formerly co-founder of an international womenswear label, he now provides consultancy, mentoring and training to creative businesses, supporting sustainable growth, strategy and development.
Vanessa Rawlings-Jackson
Vanessa is a cultural consultant and Director of Cultivate with extensive experience in theatre leadership and Arts Council England. She specialises in governance, business planning, fundraising and audience development, and has supported cultural organisations across the UK and internationally through consultancy, training and strategic programmes.
Tony Davidson
Tony spent 37 years in advertising, beginning as a creative before leading the London office of Wieden + Kennedy as Creative Director. He became a Global Partner in 2009 and served as President of D&AD in 2007. Today, he advises brands on how to stand apart through distinctive creative thinking. Tony joins the Summer cohort to offer specialist advice on branding.
Phyllis Belezos
Phyllis is an internationally respected live music agent with 20+ years’ experience across the global music industry. Formerly at ITB and William Morris Agency, she has worked with artists including Whitney Houston, Björk, Massive Attack and Sufjan Stevens, and now leads artist development and representation through Heliocentric.

Who runs Re:Create GrowthCamp?
Re:Create GrowthCamp is a programme developed and delivered by Creative United – an entrepreneurial Community Interest Company based in London. Our mission is to support creative livelihoods across the cultural and creative industries. We provide a range of programmes and business services that enable the development and sustainability of organisations, enterprises and individual artists and makers operating within these sectors.
Re:Create was first developed as a Business Support Programme in partnership with Wandsworth Borough Council in 2021, and grew to cover 3 London boroughs, in addition to Thurrock in Essex. It supported over 200 creative businesses, increasing income, skills and business confidence. Re:Create GrowthCamp is the next evolution of the programme bringing valuable knowledge, development and mentorship to the nano businesses in the creative sector that need it the most. Is Re:Create GrowthCamp right for me?
Re:Create GrowthCamp is designed for ambitious businesses ready to grow. It is most suited to small business owners or senior leaders with more than one member of staff on PAYE, an annual turnover of £50,000 + and the ability to travel to central London for in-person workshops and events.
What is the early adopter rate?
The early adopter rate of £500 +VAT is being offered for a limited time for the first two cohorts, as we refine and develop the programme.
Can I take part in Re:Create GrowthCamp if my business is not based in London?
You don’t have to be based in London to take part, but do need to be able to attend the in-person workshops and networking sessions. These take place in Somerset House in central London.
Do I need to run a creative business to take part?
Re:Create GrowthCamp is specifically tailored to creative businesses. If you have questions about whether Re:Create GrowthCamp would be the right fit for you, we’d be very happy to help.

Creative United has been delivering business support to the creative industries for over 10 years. You can read the evaluation of the Re:Create programmes on the Creative United website.
What happens after I register my interest?
After you complete the form, a member of our team will be in touch to follow up if you are suitable for the programme. You’ll then complete a short business diagnostic to dig deeper into your key areas of ambition/challenge. Spaces are allocated on a rolling basis to select a founding cohort of 10-12 businesses. If you are successful, you will need to pay the £500+ VAT fee at this stage.
You’ll then be matched to a business mentor best suited to your needs and begin your growth journey.

Autumn Cohort dates TBC
Workshops are attended by the entire cohort and are structured around learning and discussion. The workshops are 2-3 hours long, delivered mostly in-person in central London by our expert network.
